Since 1985 Antonia Salmon has worked with hand burnished and smoke fired ceramic vessels and sculpture. This ancient method of pot making, has been adapted to modern urban living. The dramatically flashed or subtly smoked surfaces enhance her powerful forms, to imbue them with a sense of quiet tension and timelessness.
